I want to start a blog here eventually, but for now let me give you my internet handle history, starting from intermediate school through college.

Michael Chinen first started using the internet in 1995. His first internet handle was "spyn4196" for several months, when he changed to "spynos" after learning that people with numbers at the end of their screen names couldn't be trusted when giving fashion advice. Not that he has ever given fashion advice. He simply values the way people value trust. The name change was a step forward. However, not yet immune to the faux pas of spelling things with zest on the internet, he released a mac video game called "CheckerWarz" in 1998. One year later, despite his growing credibility as the #60 ranked player in the AOWL (America Online Warcraft Leauge,) he changed his screen name to the MxPx-ian "LeftsideFront," because "it is a double sided bastard sword; it can please anyone because it can be about either politics or sports." In college, Michael changed his userID to simply "leftside," and finally "mchinen." Basically, he gets more boring as he gets older. If you are still interested, you can find his music here.
